Is this site secure?

Absolutely! We use the powerful Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) which encrypts sensitive information as it is being transferred over the Internet.

Will I meet new people at each event?

While we can’t guarantee that ALL participants will be new, we will endeavour to not allow you to attend an event where there are more than two people whom you have previously met.

Do I need to pay upfront?

Payment must be paid for in full via one of our accepted methods of payment prior to an event.

I have registered and paid but have not received an invitation, why not?

(a) If you have submitted a Yahoo or Hotmail email address it is a possibility that Event Fabulous invitations are being diverted to your junk folder. Please add Event Fabulous to your address book in order to prevent this from occurring.

(b) Please check that your email inbox is not full. If your inbox is full then incoming mail cannot be delivered.

(c) With certain events we wait until the correct number of people have confirmed before sending out confirmation invitations to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. Event Fabulous will endeavour to have confirmation invitations sent out as soon as possible.

How does the matching process work?

At the beginning of the event you will receive a ‘match card’. At the end of the event you will write on your match card who you would like to meet. Where ‘match cards’ have indicated an interest to meet each other Event Fabulous will then provide each person with either an email address or contact number where you are free to contact them and meet.

How soon after an event will I receive my matches?

Usually within 48 hours after an event.

How will my matches contact me?

Matches will either be able to contact you via email address or phone number. At the beginning of an event you will mark down how you would like to be contacted.

What if I need to cancel?

Event Fabulous do not refund under any circumstances otherwise stated in our terms and conditions.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card (via our secure line) and bank deposit. When making a payment please ensure you enter your unique code, otherwise processing of payments will be delayed.

Why do some of your events have different age ranges?

Research indicates that most women are comfortable meeting men who are a few years older than themselves and most men are comfortable meeting women a few years younger than them. By staggering the age ranges it provides our customers with more of a choice to meet someone they are more comfortable to date or meet.

Do you host events other than speed dating?

Absolutely! Event Fabulous is about creating the most fabulous experiences for our customers. Speed dating is just one aspect; we also cater for black tie events, weddings, corporate functions and birthdays. Please contact us on info@eventfabulous.com.au to lodge your enquiry.
